Appearance: Our Injectable Methylcobalamin comes as a lyophilized (freeze-dried) red powder, reconstituted into a red injectable solution.

Size: 10 mL vial

Strength: 1 mg/mL (after reconstitution)

Route: Intramuscular, Subcutaneous, Intravenous Infusion when mixed in a large-volume parenteral solution.

Sodium Chloride Powder Mannitol(D) USP Powder Sterile Water For Inj USP

Mixing Concentration: Mix with 10 mL diluent to yield a 1 mg/mL concentration. (1:1)

Recommended Dosing: 1mg Weekly

Prescribing Example: Mix with 10 mL diluent and inject 1ml (100 units on syringe ) subcutaneously once a week.

Methylcobalamin injection is generally well tolerated.
Common reactions include:
Local injection site pain or erythema
Headache or dizziness
Transient flushing
Rare: Anaphylaxis or hypersensitivity
